Title: Embracing Life at Sixty in a 55 and Over Retirement Village

 

Introduction

Retirement opens up many doors for senior citizens to find enjoyment, form relationships with similar people, and cultivate a rewarding life. One popular choice among the 55 and over demographic is living in a retirement village that caters solely to those aged 55 and above. But how does it feel to be sixty while surrounded by your peers in an active retirement community? This blog post aims to bring to light the unique experiences of being sixty in such an environment, as well as the advantages and dispelling any false preconceptions about it. 

As you can see, life is fun here. I have formed many relationships by co chairing our entertainment committee. We have put on murder mysteries - as seen above, dances with Laurie's party music, movie nights, golf cart scavenger hunts, live music events etc etc. 

The next several Mondays I will continue on Embracing Life at Sixty in a 55 and over Retirement Village.
