Watercolor Painting by Laurie

In our Lifestyle & Relationship Series, today's focus will be on hobbies. One of my hobbies is watercoloring.

For the past 6 or so years I have been watercoloring. I learned through a website called Let's Make Art .

Sarah Cray, the artist/teacher of the online watercoloring classes, is AWESOME! I purchased a few kits, ok so I purchased A LOT of kits and followed along with her videos before gathering enough confidence to put aside the kits and attempt to recreate some of what I had seen on my own. The two foxes pictured above were my own creations from back in 2020. During the pandemic I painted more than I ever had before!

I do credit Sarah, though, for being such a GREAT instructor. I will admit though, I don't paint as often as I like here of late. I did just purchase a kit from Let's Make Art because the theme is, Along the Coast. I feel that I need some refresher on how do water scapes and she also has seas shells and a few other items I want to create. The kit consists of 4 different paintings to follow along with and with the kit, you get the paints for those paintings, quality watercolor paper, instructions and a traceable template. Then you log on to youtube and paint along with her. She does one per week, hence why you get 4 in the box.

When I finish those paintings I will share on this blog. It won't be until the end of August though because I purchased August's kit.

I encourage you to click here , to find out more about Let's Make Art if you want to start a new hobby or refresh your painting skills. Her kits are worth the money for what you get with it.
