Labor Day is the unofficial end of summer, and it's a great time to get together with family and friends for a picnic. Whether you're packing a lunch for a day at the park or hosting a cookout, sandwiches are always a popular option. For a great last minute option, many of us already have the ingredients in our pantry to make this delicious sauce!

BBQ Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
  3. Let cool completely before serving.

This BBQ sauce is versatile and can be used on a variety of dishes, including chicken, ribs, and burgers. It's also a great dipping sauce for sandwiches.
