Taking Care of Your Mental Health on 9/11

September 11 is a day that is often marked by grief, sadness, and anxiety for many people. If you are struggling to cope with the anniversary of the attacks, there are things you can do to take care of your mental health.

Allow yourself to feel these emotions. Don't try to suppress them or let them overcome you. It is a difficult time for many, no matter how many years have passed.
Talking to others who have had experiences like your own can help tremendously. It can help you feel less alone.
You will want to take care of your physical health as well. Eating healthy, exercising, and limiting alcohol consumption are vital to your mental health as well.
If you are struggling with this day, reach out for help.
